According to the book “Personality Plus” written by Florence Littauer there are some human nature or character. Well, maybe by knowing the human nature so we can recognize ourselves to further understand the nature of other people around us.
According to Littauer, there are four kinds of human nature. First, Choleric (want to move forward, is hard as a war commander). Second, Sanguine (jovial, almost never seem sad, but forgetful and always wanted to get the attention of others). Third, Melancholy (serious, systematic and always think of an action carefully before doing so). Fourth, Phlegmatic (let go, do not like to fight and just follow the easy way).
Well here’s a simple way to understand the four human basic nature :
Choleric
To complete a job then a Choleric will finish in its own way (my way). He’s really creative, even if no manual though so he does not like to follow the manual. Anyway the Choleric will try to finish the job until completion, with the right way as he believed. Any obstacle will be hit to achieve the goal. Choleric is also pleased to arrange other people but he did not like it when pushed to do something.
Sanguine
How a Sanguine must finish the job? The way he finished his job is in a way it deems most fun (fun away). Then he will done pleasurly. Unfortunately, this Sanguine impressed wasting time because he want to always look for loopholes that work for him could lead to excitement. Sanguine also procrastinator job even often forget what has been done. He works without a plan and tend to underestimate whatever it does. His attitude tends to go around. If there was a crowd so people Sanguine always appear most prominently, either in terms of clothes, screams attracted the attention of the person or the eccentric behavior. Sanguine can be likened to a child who is trapped in adult bodies. Young and likes to play.
Melancholy
Well here it is the type of regular workers. Likes to tidy and systematic. In completing the work then a Melancholy character will choose the best way, somehow. If any man and he will follow the manual’s 100%. He worked very diligently and seriously, and always demand the same of subordinates or colleagues. If anyone who deviated slightly from the will then he will be moody and gloomy all day. Melancholy people are quick once touched his feelings. His life was orderly and that always neatly dressed and charming.
Phlegmatic
Well here it is man’s most enjoyable for everyone. People Phlegmatic is almost never angry. His smile was sincere. It’s just like people who have no ambition. He was peaceful, and not contentious. He is also shy and tend not to want to stand out in the crowd. A Phlegmatic will accept the opinion of any other person, though not necessarily his doing. If do some work then that person will do it the easiest way (easy way). Sometimes by taking shortcuts.
