Here are the steps to update the BIOS on the computer :
- Identify the type of motherboard in your PC, find out information about the motherboard you use. Do not get your BIOS updated by another different BIOS type.
- Find similar type of BIOS with a BIOS that is used on your motherboard. You can search via the Internet by searching through search engines that you use frequently. Please download the BIOS if you have found the appropriate type.
- Prepare a new floppy and format using DOS system and the parameter /s (type the command:formata:/s) that can be used for the booting process.
- The next step, copy all the files that you get (the results of the search) into the floppy disk you have prepared earlier.
- Restart your computer. Then boot using the boot disk you have prepared it. Once entered into the DOS system, run the FLASH program for the update process.
