Important Things When Your Baby Get Fever, Do It Soon
There is many causes of fever, may include :
- There is a virus that enters so that the child get fever
- Pneumonia, climate change, teeth growing and so forth
Well, what should we do when the child has a fever. Here are a few things to do :
- Immediately compress the child with warm water instead of cold water because cold water if given, the baby’s brain will think that the cold temperatures outside the body so the brain will tell your body to raise its temperature by shivering to produce heat
- Give febrifuge
- Give them a lot of drink
- Monitor and hold body heat with Thermometer
- Go to the docter immediately
Before that happens should the parents can prepare some of the following, among others :
- Always provide Thermometer. Both the digital and the manual. Learn how to use. Useful to monitor the thermal state of the child
- Always provide febrifuge at home
- Can also always provide instant compress
- Make sure you have a hospital phone number or doctor
