Monitor can’t Works

Such occurrences are sometimes just because of simple thing but users often assume such damage is a serious damage. But there is possibility, the computer monitor is off when the computer is turned on because it caused significant damage to components on the computer (hardware). If you are experiencing the same thing as the case, the first thing you do is check the cable that relate directly to the monitor. Monitor power cable and VGA cable plugged in is a prime target of checking when experiencing this case.

If the indicator lights on the monitor is not lit, check whether the power plug from the monitor as well as to the direction of the electrical outlet. Make sure that you have installed correctly. You can also change other plug cable if still does not work. Some PCs have this kind of plugs captured or captive cord, which means permanently mounted on the inside of the monitor. On this type, you can not check the power cords on the monitor.

If the indicator lights on the monitor is on and orange or blinking, check the video cable connecting the monitor with the CPU, is it installed properly. If not, tighten up one end on the VGA port with a screw and check out the other end of the monitor plug. Check also the VGA cable plug from the monitor. If any pins are bent, straighten it using pliers. And make sure all the pins go into the right hole.

If the problem is not resolved, there may be problems on the CRT video signal adapter board. Try replacing the VGA card on your monitor with VGA cards that can still function normally. This aims to ensure that the VGA card you need to be replaced. In some types of motherboards, VGA damage can be marked by a beep.
