Actually, processor installation is relatively simple. But it also required some preparation, because the processor is very influential on the performance of all components in the computer. The steps for installing the processor :
Prepare for Installation Material
Some things that need to be prepared in the installation process processor is :

Preparation of Work Area
Remove the cables connected to the computer, open Cassing and disconnect the cables that interfere with the acces to the processor, such as hard disk cables, cable CD ROM, disk drive cable and so forth. Wear slippers to anticipate the flow of static electricity. If needed, you can also gloves of insulating material. Be careful, because static electricity can sometimes damage the processor.
Removing Old Processor
- Remove the processor fan header cable from the motherboard or an external ATX power cable.

Installing a New Processor

- Apply a thermal adhesive on the chip. Use the adhesive on the chip that arise, not on the circuit board that surrounds it.
- Attach the heatsink to the socket and processor. Take care not to touch the processor heatsink and thermal mix. In most of the heatsink, its installation should be the same height or parallel to the processor.
- Once the heatsink is installed, attach the main clip to the socket as the cover.
Processor Test
After installation is complete processor, replace the internal and external cassing wiring to its appropriate place. Note whether the processor speed shown is the same as the default rate processor.
